Houseplants make a wonderful addition to the home office. Not only do they brighten up a workspace, they can actually enhance air quality, increasing the humidity and reducing carbon monoxide levels. There are lots of varieties to choose from, including some that are particularly recommended for their air-cleaning properties. It’s worth thinking about the space, heat and light available, and avoiding anything that’s toxic to pets – or to people!
